Simple static caravan makeover ideas

Renovating a static caravan needn't be as big a project as you might think. Simple things like upgrading tatty flooring or replacing cabinet doors can drastically change the appearance of your holiday home without breaking the bank.

Whilst refurbishing a static caravan might seem like a daunting task, it can be as simple as introducing some fancy wallpaper and a fresh coat of paint. And you don't have to undertake all of the work on your own, any good painter or decorator should be able to help you. The wall and floor space is considerably smaller than a conventional property so it shouldn't take too long either!

5 simple static caravan makeovers:

1) Bright colours obviously aren't this owners thing! The colour scheme has been dramatically toned down by swapping out the orange cushions and replacing the curtains with a more subtle colour scheme.

2) This interior has been made to look drastically bigger simply by changing the large sofa for a smaller model and replacing dark patterned curtains with a pale neutral fabric.

3) By adding feature wall paper, new flooring and a change of furniture these owners have completely transformed this holiday home.

4) Simple tricks like replacing net curtains, re-painting cabinets and changing drawer handles have given this bedroom a completely different feel. A new headboard, duvet cover and cushions complete the look.

5) We think we've saved the best for last! Brand new curtains, flooring and soft furnishings, plus a fresh new paint colour, and this holiday home has been transformed from 'a little bit tired' to contemporary and welcoming.

So there you have it, a few simple ideas to help you achieve your perfect interior!

This April, we completed our first Million Mile Clean, collecting 11 sacks of litter over 2 miles. And this September, we're doing it all over again, but this time, we're adding in an extra mile! Providing a clean and attractive destination for our visitors to enjoy not only benefits our business, it also positively impacts our local community and the wider environment. Which is why we have committed to join Surfers Against Sewage Million Mile Clean for the second time. Now the biggest initiative of its kind in the UK, the Million Mile Clean is an annual event, mobilising 1,000,000 million volunteers to clean over 10,000,000 miles of UK landscape between 2021 - 2030. It’s reported that more than 2 million pieces of litter are dropped in the UK every day at a cost of £1 billion to the taxpayer. So, we are asking visitors and the local community to get pro-active and join us at Riverside Holiday Village near Weston-super-Mare on Thursday 11th September from 10.00am - 1.00pm for an organised 3 mile ‘litter pick’ along Bridgwater Road (Uphill Beach - Hospital Roundabout - Hobbs Boat Inn). ‘Clean Kits’ will be provided; we’re just asking for 3 hours of your time to help clean up this public space.
