Located in the village of Bleadon, the popular seaside town of Weston-super-Mare is just 3.3 miles (a 10-minute drive) from our award-winning campsite and holiday park, where visitors can enjoy donkey rides, fish and chips on the beach or a visit to the Grand Pier.

Riverside Holiday Village offers an ideal position for campers wishing to explore the West Country; with Bath, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury and Wookey Hole all nearby.


Our dog-friendly campsite near Weston-super-Mare is surrounded by beautiful walking trails, with plenty of facilities for our visitors to enjoy. Spend a day by the pool, enjoy freshly prepared food and drinks at The Kingfisher Club, or indulge in an afternoon of fishing on the River Axe, which flows through the back of our campsite.

Please note: Our new campsite is open to campers and motorhomes, unfortunately we cannot facilitate short-stay touring caravans at Riverside Holiday Village, however short-stay options are available at 6 of our Somerset caravan parks near Burnham-on-Sea and Brean.

Adult-only camping is also available at The Rodney Stoke Caravan and Camping Park in Cheddar.

Swimming Pool

Our heated indoor pool is open daily, with poolside changing facilities. There is also a splash pool for your little ones! Use of our pool is included in your booking when you visit our campsite. We also ask that all children under 16 be accompanied by an adult. 


Seasonal Fishing

The River Axe runs along the rear of the park and is generously stocked with roach, perch, chub, pike, carp and eels. To enjoy our fishing lake, you must have a National Rod Licence (the Park Permit must be obtained from reception). Night fishing is not permitted without prior permission. Seasonal fishing is 16th June – 14th March.

Camping at Riverside Holiday Village
At Riverside Holiday Village we offer grass pitches for casual camping. Pitches are available with or without electric hook-up. Our new campsite is open to campers and motorhomes, unfortunately we cannot facilitate short-stay touring caravans.

Check in/out
Check in is from 12pm - 6pm. Reception is unmanned after 6pm. Please inform the site on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your pitch.

Cancellations
You may cancel your booking at any time. We do not offer refunds for cancelled 
bookings, unless a minimum of 4 weeks notice is given (with a valid reason). The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure

  • Can I bring my dog camping in Weston-super-Mare?

    Yes, Riverside Holiday Village welcomes responsible pet owners. Visitors may bring their pets into a designated dog friendly area in the clubhouse, as well as the beer garden and clubhouse conservatory. Find out more about our dog policy.

  • Do I have to pay to use the clubhouse or swimming pool during my visit?

    No, this is included in your camping fee. Occasionally, we may have a ‘ticket event’ in the clubhouse, but generally, entertainment is free.

  • When is the campsite open?

    The holiday park is open from February to January. However, camping at Riverside Holiday Village is only available during the main school holidays. 

  • Is there much to do in Weston-super-Mare?

    Weston-super-Mare is an all-year-round family coastal destination with sandy beaches, eclectic events, fantastic walks and an amazing music and comedy scene. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to try, and a visit to the Grand Pier is a must for kids of all ages!

    Our riverside campsite is located just 3 miles from Weston beach (less than 10 minutes in the car, or a 20 minute bike ride). Local transport links are located just outside of the park and there is a regular bus during high-season.
