Purpose-built for Family Camping near Weston-super-Mare

Ahead of the Easter opening of our riverside campsite near Weston-super-Mare, we are pleased to share the addition of a brand-new utilities block at Riverside Holiday Village.

Situated beside the camping field, our new utilities block has been purpose built to meet the demands of family camping! The new facilities combine a bright and airy design with all of the privacy that visitors expect from modern camping.


The development includes shower, toilet and washroom facilities (including facilities for disabled visitors), plus an area for washing dishes and an outside tap (drinking water).


Riverside’s new utilities block is one of several major improvements since 2015, including a complete refurbishment of the parks’ bar and clubhouse, convenience shop, arcade area and swimming pool.

Three West Country Parks awarded the AA’s Four Star Gold Award

Following a Mystery Guest visit by a professional inspector this July, each park has been assessed under a set of quality standards agreed by an independent Quality Advisory Board. The inspection included an assessment of each parks; Location and Access Sustainability/Green Credentials Customer Care Cleanliness/Maintenance Toilets Other Site Facilities Pitches Grounds All three parks scored an impressive 90% overall. With Coombes and Rose Farm both achieving full marks for 'customer care' and Riverside’s impressive facilities bagging them the top score. When visiting Four Star Parks, customers can expect a high-quality site with well-maintained facilities and very good customer care. Additionally, each park was awarded a Gold Award, placing them being amongst the best sites in their star category. David Tattersall, Group Manager of West Country Park Homes: "Yet another well-deserved result here. This level of award, by such a high-brand Assessor, just proves that we are hitting the high standards consistently. The inspections were carried-out without specific notice."
