New camping facilities at Riverside Holiday Village near Weston-super-Mare

New for 2024 . . .

A new and affordable holiday experience will be returning to our popular Somerset holiday park in 2024, with the opening of new camping facilities at Riverside Holiday Village.


Following a hugely positive trial period this summer, we are excited to announce that Riverside Holiday Village will be opening its gates to campers and motorhomes from the Easter Bank Holiday (Friday 29th March 2024).

With a peaceful riverside location, the campsite will have 50 grass camping and motorhome pitches in total, 10 with electric hook-up.


The campsite will also benefit from its own shower, toilet and washroom facilities, with a kitchen area for washing dishes and waste-water disposal point. Campers will have full access to all of the park’s facilities including our indoor heated pool, bar and clubhouse, two adventure playgrounds, amusement arcade and seasonal fishing lake.


Group Manager, David Tattersall, said on the new venture;


‘We hope that these new camping facilities will provide a much-needed affordable holiday option for visitors to Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding area. It’s a spectacular location to stay and we look forward to welcoming our first campers this Easter.’

Three West Country Parks awarded the AA’s Four Star Gold Award

Following a Mystery Guest visit by a professional inspector this July, each park has been assessed under a set of quality standards agreed by an independent Quality Advisory Board. The inspection included an assessment of each parks; Location and Access Sustainability/Green Credentials Customer Care Cleanliness/Maintenance Toilets Other Site Facilities Pitches Grounds All three parks scored an impressive 90% overall. With Coombes and Rose Farm both achieving full marks for 'customer care' and Riverside’s impressive facilities bagging them the top score. When visiting Four Star Parks, customers can expect a high-quality site with well-maintained facilities and very good customer care. Additionally, each park was awarded a Gold Award, placing them being amongst the best sites in their star category. David Tattersall, Group Manager of West Country Park Homes: "Yet another well-deserved result here. This level of award, by such a high-brand Assessor, just proves that we are hitting the high standards consistently. The inspections were carried-out without specific notice."
