Two more West Country Parks awarded the AA's Four Star Gold Award in 2026
We are thrilled to share that New House Farm and The Rodney Stoke Caravan & Camping Park have achieved the AA’s Four Star Gold Award for 2026/27
Following a Mystery Guest visit by a professional inspector this July, both parks have been assessed under a set of quality standards agreed between the AA and the UK Tourist Authorities.
The inspection included an assessment of each parks;
- Location and Access
- Sustainability/Green Credentials
- Customer Care
- Cleanliness/Maintenance across the park
- Toilets (quality, cleanliness and maintenance)
- Other Site Facilities
- Pitches
- Grounds
Both parks scored an impressive 90% overall - with both achieving full marks for 'customer care' and Rodney Stoke's new luxury fully serviced pitches bagging them the top score. Additionally, each park was awarded a Gold Award, placing them amongst the best sites in their star category.
When visiting Four Star Parks, customers can expect an extremely high standard in all areas, with well-maintained facilities, very good customer care
and additional facilites compared to lower rated establishments.
Discussing the recent upgrades at Rodney Stoke, AA Assessor Chris Pike said:
"What an improvement since my last visit, this park has been transformed."
This recent visit means that five of our holiday/caravan parks have now been graded as 4-star parks - including Riverside Holiday Village, Rose Farm and Coombes Cider Farm.
