Rose Farm Clubhouse becomes The Red Lion

February 18, 2026

Welcome to The Red Lion at Rose Farm!

We hope that visitors will join us in welcoming two familiar faces to Rose Farm Clubhouse. Current Park Wardens (Dawna and Paul) are stepping behind the bar, where visitors and their fur-babies can expect a friendly welcome. And that's not all! As well as a brand-new management team, Rose Farm Clubhouse also has a brand-new name - welcome to The Red Lion!

'We're looking forward to welcoming some exciting new acts throughout the season (as well as a few Rose Farm favourites), beginning with Damien Matthews who will be performing for the first time ever at Rose Farm on Saturday 21st February 2026'.

Please follow us on FaceBook to stay up to date with all of our latest news and events.

Under our current management team, Rose Farm has become a popular long-stay caravan park with a lengthy waiting list for seasonal pitches. And, in 2025 Rose Farm was awarded the AA’s Four-Star Gold Award – an achievement that we hope to repeat this season. We are confident that by unifying the day-to-day running of Rose Farm and The Red Lion under one management team, we will be able to satisfy the expectations of our holiday visitors, whilst welcoming the wider community into our venue.

The Red Lion is now open for drinks, bingo, darts and pool. Food will be available at a later date.

Following our annual Mystery Guest visits by a professional inspector this April, each park has been re-assessed under a set of quality standards agreed between the AA and the UK Tourist Authorities. The inspection included an assessment of each parks; Location and Access Sustainability/Green Credentials Customer Care Cleanliness/Maintenance across the park Toilets (quality, cleanliness and maintenance) Other Site Facilities Pitches Grounds All three parks scored an impressive 91% overall (an increase on last year) - with Coombes and Rose Farm both achieving full marks for 'customer care' and Riverside’s impressive facilities and cleanliness/maintenance across the park bagging them the top score. Additionally, each park was again awarded a Gold Award, placing them amongst the best sites in their star category. When visiting Four Star Parks, customers can expect an extremely high standard in all areas, with well-maintained facilities, very good customer care and additional facilites compared to lower rated establishments. David Tattersall, Group Manager of West Country Park Homes: "Consistency is so important in our industry and we're extremely proud to have achieved this level of award by such a high-brand Assessor for the second year running. It just confirms that we are continuing to meet the high standards that our visitors expect and deserve."
